Reno® Mattresses Castoro Reno® Mattresses are used for channel and other areas such as bridge abutment & culvert locations to prevent erosion of the banks or beds of the stream, river or foreshore.

A Reno® Mattress can be identified by the double wall diaphragm in the bottom. Enabling better retention of the stone and allowing greater economy where cutting of the mattress is required.
6m x 2m x 230mm x 2.0mm is the norm in PNG this size is ex stock delivery from Lae other sizes 170, 300 and 500mm Jumbo mattresses are also available on short delivery - details by request.
Terramesh® Units
A gabion front with an integral mesh panel keyed into the backfill which allows high
strength stabilisation without using high mass stone fills. High walls with heavy loading
can be designed.

Green Terramesh®
Using the same Terramesh® concept Green Terramesh® has a reinforced folding front panel with a bio degradable fibre mat, enabling the quick establishment of vegetation on the front face. (Alternative front panel geotextile & grids are available.)
Design Software
Proprietary user friendly software is available to assist in the design of gravity gabion structures, Terramesh® walls, channel & weir structures. Markham Culverts can install it on your PC on request. (Available for senior design offices in PNG.)
