Markham Dekplank® is I00% designed and manufactured at
the Markham Culverts plant in Lae, Papua New Guinea from Hot Dip
Galvanised Steel, for long durable life to replace the old bridge deck
which might have rotten timber, worn out planks, stolen parts or been
vandalized.
Dekplank® can be used on all Bailey type bridges with
timber decking systems using standard 5 stringer sets.
Dekplank® has been designed and certified to
accept T44 loading in compliance with Austroads I PNG bridge design
criteria when laid across five (5) existing Bailey type stringer sets.

Cross section of Dekplank
While the Dekplank® is T44 load capable, the design
and condition of the existing bridge may be the limiting factor. The
surface has a non-slip Holdek ® running
strip and the plates allow free draining across 45% of the width and
through the holes.
